DUI / DWI Charges
1. If you are a Maryland resident and your license was confiscated, you need to fill out a hearing request form. This must be mailed within 10 DAYS of the charge. (The form is on the back of PAGE 2 of the paper license - DR15A).
2. Get a certified copy of your driving record with a PBJ (Probation Before Judgment). Make sure you ask for a "Litigation" record as this is the only way to get a complete record.
3. IN JAIL - Bail Bonding is very simple in OC. We can help you get a bondsman. Most commissioner bonds are reduced at a hearing. Bond review hearings are handled on an expedited basis.

Criminal Charges
1. If you have been arrested BE QUIET! Do not make any statement to the police. Do not tell them your side. Nothing you can say will change their minds about arresting you and anything you do say will come back to haunt you. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT! USE IT!
2. Contact an attorney IMMEDIATELY! Do not wait until just before trial, do not worry about being embarrassed about being arrested, do not put it off hoping it will "go away". The more time your attorney has to deal with your case the better off you will be.
3. If you have any injuries or damage to your property take photographs immediately.
4. Write down the names, addresses and phone numbers of anyone who is a witness to what happened and give them to your attorney.
